    enjoying the Dickens novels.so far only 2,Great Expectations and David Copperfield. David Copperfield is so good it deserves multi readings! Dickens has wriiten NOTES ON AMERICA. I'm sure he has written Notes on Italy?

    Sometimes you start a book not realising it's going to make you cry. This was my reaction to DAVID COPPERFIELD. DICKENS.

    Have you seen the movie based on this novel? Stars Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins. It's a very gentle but passionate portrayal of the human, in this case,english caution in revealing true feelings. "He who hesitates, is lost", springs to mind.
