I don't generally read fantasy books, but I loved The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. After much prodding by my teenaged daughter I finally read the Twilight series and really did enjoy them.

I have a reading chair and footstool in my bedroom. It's in front of the window for reading during the day, and next to a lamp for nighttime reading. Very comfy.

Hi ~ I'm Liz. I'm 49 and live in Annapolis, Maryland, in the USA. I'm the married mother of one daughter and four sons, ages 5, 17, 17, 29 and 24.
My favorite authors are Oscar Wilde, Anne Tyler, George Simenon, Ruth Rendell, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Charlotte Bronte, and Evelyn Waugh. I also enjoy reading history, especially Tsarist Russia and Pre- Revolutionary France.
My favorite poets are Rainier Maria Rilke, William Blake, T.S. Elliot, Langston Hughes, Anna Akhmatova, Dorothy Parker, and Li Po.
I enjoy music as well, Brahms, Schubert, Delibes, and the modern groups R.E.M.. Pearl Jam, The Verve, Rufus Wainwright, The Who. Air, The Cure,
