Hello. I'm popping by to say 'hello', so that's that done! I hope you're okay! Toodles.
-
Greetings to you. I'm glad you're well and enjoying B.F.Time! All is well with me, thank you. I've left work early for some quiet-time. The door's locked, the house is tidy and clean and I am alone in peace. Lovely. I've had some frustrating news from the Police Service, mind. They're pulling back on recruitment for a while, so I just have to be patient until they give me a date for the next stage, dammit. Never mind. If there's just one thing I am, it is patient.
Take care, Flower. Have a very, very splendid weekend.

Hello my friend! Thought I'd drop in to say 'Yo!'. So there you are, Sarah. I've said it. I hope you are very well. Have a terribly good weekend.
-
Ah. No. I meant find a book by an author that you absolutely love that you haven't yet read. But you've probably done the lot of them! Check out my thread McRecommends. You might find some inspiration on there!

Apologies for over-use of the word 'mate'. I forget what I've written previously (although if I juuuusst scroll down a little...yeeessss, there we are...), and so quite often repeat myself. And now I've forgotten what you wrote to me! D'oh!
Oh. Yeah. The mojo thing. Hmmm...I always try to read an author I absolutely know I love. That usually helps.
Happy days, Whitlock. Happy days!

My plans for the weekend involve remaining at home in peace and pottering about. I have some lovely reading to be getting on with and a bottle of Rioja to open tonight. Excellent, no?
Hope you have a good one, mate.

Good morning/Evening, Whitlock! Just dropped by to say that. Hope you're well, matey!

Hellooooo Kate! Thought I'd see how you are. I imagine you are currently having a lovely time. I hope this is the case.
Ta ta for now. X

Hey Kelly. Thank you for the 'McRecommend'! It really does sound right up my street. I'll go and buy this at the weekend.
How're things with you in the flatlands?

Strange about it's reputation. It is said that the light that shines upon the streets of Doncaster is the light of the Angels, and that this contains mystical healing energy with the power to start engineless cars...
It is said that the inhabitants possess a beauty comparable to that of Paris and Helen of Troy.
It is said that Stephen Hawking dares not visit this town, for fear that his intellect should be dwarfed...

Ooh, sort of...I'm not very good at the morning after thing anymore. It's more like the next-two-days-after thing nowadays.
Did you know that Doncaster is considered the 'Vatican City' of the north? It's rare beauty and it's fiscal wealth put many other northern towns to shame. The sheer gorgeousness of the place has inspired many artists and is a centre of great classical learning.

Hey there, Echo. I'm sorry to read that you're feeling so low currently. You've got such a lot going on in your life, haven't you? Chrissy gave suggested some really good things to do, didn't she! I've suffered quite debilitating anxiety sporadically for the last five years which has occasionally prevented me from leaving my house, I've felt that low. Along with many others on this forum, I wish you a speedy recovery to top form.
Take care.

Hi Sarah. Yep, read them all. Every one is very different from the last. He's an exceptional writer. Check him out. I think you'll really like Under The Skin in particular. The Crimson Petal and the White is a masterpiece. Hope you're very well.

The Crimson Petal and the White is a fantastic book. It has made a massive impact on me - not that it's earth-shattering or anything like that - it was just a very, very well written, absorbing novel. Everyone I recommend it to has loved it. I hope you will too.
I work in day services for the folks, trying to make things a little happier for them. It's poorly paid, but then, these jobs are vocational, really. I've applied to become a police officer, so we'll see how that goes.
Alabama, eh? I've never been there. I have been to the States a number of times, mostly with my old band, but Alabama is somewhere I'd like to see first hand.
