Hey Claire, welcome to the forum
-
Right, before I get into my ditherings over NM I'd just like to reassure everyone that it hasn't taken a week for me to become coherent again, I've just had a lot going on
Oh oh oh, I forgot to say - Jasper looks amazing in this movie. He's not in it much I know, but he's (by miles) the most inhuman looking person in the entire gang. He just LOOKS evil - and I love it. He's still the hottest by miles. As we all know, I *heart* Jackson but yet again they made him look stupid with his poor hair :motz:Personally, I think Rob asked them to do that because he thinks Jackson is too hot
I'm going to see this on WednesdayYay
You'll love it!
I think I picked the best night to go, we got there early and because of pregnant sister and my limping/walking with a stick we got escorted in and shown to the best seats! When the film started there was lots of whooping and then it was deathly silent - no screaming tweens, nothing. I was slightly concerned there were several small children that appeared to be 8 or under, considering the film didn't finish until 11.30pm. When Jacob & the wolf pack appeared sans shirts nearly everyone shouted "put your shirts back on" and booed
The entire audience appeared to be Team Edward!!! There was certainly no Jacob love going on and there were quite a few (male) voices shouting "get a life Jake" at the almost-slushy moments.
And of course it was always Edward, Jake knew that but is a spoilt kid who wants what he can't have.
Will be back later with more - not typing well just now as I have a splint on my wrist...
I'm really desperate to see it again but apparently our pokey little cinema doesn't have wheelchair access to the screen where it's showing and I'll be in one for up to 6 weeks after my surgery on Tuesday so not happy
-
I am home and all I can say just now is OMG x 100
I will be back when I'm slightly more coherent!

Welcome to the forum Jay

Hello Amika, welcome to the forum
-
Okay, so even though I own all the books I've just downloaded all the audiobooks using a gift certificate
Trying to talk my mum into coming to the pictures with me next week to see it again (I know! I haven't seen it once yet
but a girl has to plan these things! ) and she said no
25 hours to go for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Too right
Apparently, my brother-in-law wants to see it so if you give it a thumbs up I can go on Sunday with him. If it's awful I'll tell him to wait for the dvd!
-
Ben, don't forget to let us know how awful 2012 is
-
I don't see how I'm going to sleep tonight but I'm going to have to - was up til 3am talking to my "friend" in the US
I know at least 6 people who have given it the thumbs up so I'm slightly less anxious now
I found the trailer for Remember Me on MySpace last night - I want to see it but I really don't like Emilie de Ravin, she was the one thing that ruined Lost for me...
-
I've still got nearly 29 hours to wait
- was a bit off with my calculations last night and got over-excited
-
OMGGGGGG x 1000!!!
Woo!!!
:D
-
Hello and welcome
Love your avatar too!

Welcome to the forum, Adrienne
Hope you enjoy it here!
-
That's what I'm hoping!!! And I suppose I'm getting dinner out from it too
-
I've still got 32 hours to get through - and a rugby match
:D
-
Marcia, enjoy the movie tonight - it'll be about 6am here when you go in so have a fabulous time and we're all waiting for the first OMG!!! report
-
Everyone here is on the same sparkly wavelength now!
Of course we are
-
An OMG scale, yeah! But really, can you honestly see me hating it?!
Won't happen.
1 OMGs: Chris Weitz should retire forever
2-3 OMGs: Meh, at least we can wait for the DVD commentary
4-5 OMGs: Awesome! I need to see it again.
6 or more OMGs: ::sob:: If RP asked me to strip for him I totally would! ::sob::
Does that work for you guys?
Works for me
Only thing I think I want to know before going is am I going to be super
at how much screen time the wolves get
-
OMG's are acceptable but I might start worrying if you only do 2 or 3
We should set a scale or something so I don't panic!
-
After Michael promised not to moan through the film I booked tickets for tomorrow
I'm looking forward to it! ^^
Yay!!!

When I heard about 'Unbound Captives', I thought all of my birthdays had arrived as one
Tell me about it
We'll end up having to turn this into a Twilight Saga actors thread so we can branch out a bit

Right, my reading took a nosedive at the end of last year for various reasons so I'm going to use this to give me the proverbial kick
These are some of the books I have lined up for January - have read 4 already which I'll stick in a seperate post. Bear in mind my reading is so eccentric in taste it might make your head spin, I make no excuses for the alarming discovery that half my reading seems to be of the "trashy" genre recently
To Read In January
Winter's Tale - Mark Helprin (re-read)
Immortal - P C Cast
The Swan Maiden - Jules Watson
Sarum - Edward Rutherfurd
The Lost - J D Robb
Salamander - Thomas Wharton
Bitten - Kelley Armstrong (re-read)
Camelot's Sword - Sarah Zettel
A Pound Of Paper - John Baxter
Wideacre - Philippa Gregory (re-read)
The Favoured Child - Philippa Gregory
Nightlife - Rob Thurman
Dead Reign - T A Pratt
Spell Games - T A Pratt
The Boar Stone - Jules Watson
The House On The Strand - Daphne du Maurier
Dark Lady's Chosen - Gail Z Martin
The Master And Margarita - Mikhail Bulgakov
