  1. Oo that is from Brother Bear disney film is it not? Amorphis - Sampo
  2. Yes I am, although I don't watch every time it is on
  3. Both the original Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 are fantastic! I personally enjoy: Pocahontas (some people dislike it saying it is not historically correct but in its own right I adore it, Meeko and the songs sway it for me) Beauty and the Beast (I was obsessed with this film as a child) Brother bear (recent-ish disney which I loved) But there are many others that are great too which I watched constantly as a kid and am still fond of now I know, it doesn't bother and hasn't affected me and I had a very disney-fied upbringing and have been to disneyland Paris three times. I see myself as very openminded and have my head screwed on in the real world. The films are entertaining, make children and adults think about their actions in many ways.....and at the end of the day nothing and no-one is perfect, the films shouldn't be to blame for children not being brought up right.
  4. I love to drink Jacksons Sencha Green Tea, Belvoir Elderflower Presse, Ale (I like to collect the bottles with quirky labels), Cider, good Red Wine (Merlot) fresh juice such as orange, cranberry or tropical mix, i'm sure mixed with some sort of alcohol they are nice too Cocktails - I was a massive fan of screaming orgasm (has coffee and vodka in, two things I dislike but I liked the cocktail as a whole) not had that in a while, good times ordering that at a bar. On the other hand I don't like coffee, normal tea tends to make me sluggish now so I refrain from it as much as possible, fizzy drinks bloat me so I restrict my intake of those for my wellbeing. I don't like drinking white wine or rose and i'm not a fan of vodka either. Jack Daniels with coke and Southern Comfort with lemonade used to be a couple of my favourite drinks but they are not anymore. Can't beat cold fresh water though
  5. Mac :D Great to hear from you, how is everything with you, you staying busy? Job that bad? lol

My job front......i'm somewhat, temporarily content in my current job, only because I go in early, do what has to be done (i've also been moved around so the people I work directly with are much more friendly and appreciative of what I do for them) and I'm finished by midday so free to do whatever I please. I'm trying to see the positives in what I have now....it seems to be working

Oolala what radical things are you thinking of? Got me intrigued! Oh that reminds me I would LOVE to read about you coast to coast walk, you have my email still don't you?

SarahVille is not too bad I guess, just living and learning. I'm on an interesting short course, Osteoarchaeology. We have been looking at animal bones lately, moving on to human soon enough - yay for bones!

Hope you are taking care! How is MACclesfield.....?

  6. I adore that cover of Mr Y, Johnny. Plan on getting it myself in the future.
  7. Was it called 'Out Tragic Universe' only cover that is black and gold/yellow? Thats good to know Ooshie I do think i'll like it once into it..well hope
  8. Finished The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly on Thursday night and loved it. I started Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow yesterday, not all that impressed with it so far but that may have been down to me not being in a great mood so I will try again from the beginning later on today. Also read some of The Elements of Pantheism last night and have read some more of Perdido Street Station by China Mieville today.
  9. yeah it depends whats going on this year, Lordi was entertaining
  10. I'll be watching if I haven't found anything else to do, it can be entertaining.
  11. Heylo Tom :D Thank you :friends0: I'll survive.

I hope you have been taking care of yourself and not stuffing yourself silly with oatmeal :tong:

  12. Ah, I want chocolate! Feeling a bit poo so just had cheese & tomato ravioli on brown toast - easy, filling, comforting food
  13. 100% first time, I've attempted this type of thing before but on paper and am usually good at it. I'm left handed and read that the opposite side of the brain is dominant (right in my case) I also read before that left handers were found to transfer information between both sides of the brain alot faster than right-handers/left brained, maybe that has something to do with how good people are at games like this.....although left brainers are said to be better with numbers....I can vouch for that, I'm personally not amazing with numbers.
  14. Do you mean the latest Sherlock Holmes film? If so I listened to that soundtrack the other day and quite liked it as well as the soundtrack to the film Prince of Persia by Harry Gregson-Williams with added Alanis Morissette song
  15. I love it Janet - make mine red - merlot.
  16. Yeah I didn't either, ah i'm confused. Person who originally said it probably is!
  17. Not exactly a mistake but when I see it I think it is, but it apparently isn't. The thing that puzzles me is 'an historical' Inside I'm screaming, no it doesn't begin with a vowel so it should be 'a historical' but I've been told otherwise that the H is silent (although I myself pronounce the H)....English is my first and only strong language and after nearly 24 years I still find things like that hard to come to terms with Does anyone have any other information on this?
  18. Oh, yes you should, I hope you like it!
  19. I like the Princess Mononoke soundtrack, the music is so soothing in parts, like a lullaby.
  20. Great question, I love so many and probably won't remember them all now. I love the atmospheric/epic soundtracks like Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, House of Flying Daggers, The Last of the Mohicans over the soundtracks made up of band music, that said I do like songs from the Queen of the Damned, Devils Rejects, Lost boys & Saw V I too love Danny Elfman and practically all his soundtracks. Also enjoy the disney soundtracks, (when in the right mood) like Pocahontas and lots more...
  21. @Cookie: Thats brilliant, if it's done well it will look great! Some of her pictures are stunning!
  22. It is a piece done by Jasmine Becket-Griffith (fantasy artist) who calls her work 'Strangeling', there are various websites selling her work but you can get directly from Jasmine, based in the US but her stuff is available worldwide as far as i'm aware. This particular one as well as a red-head girl laying in the grass I bought as prints from her the other month. She is also on facebook if you search her name, I got this avatar from her album on there 'Faces of Faery' She sells alot of mechandise in various forms, not just paintings/prints, figurines, dolls, costumes, clothing etc.
  23. Finished Dry Store Room No.1 by Richard Fortey yesterday. Started and read 100 pages of The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jaqueline Kelly today (not amused that I was flicking through the pages and page 165/6's corner has been ripped and was folded down, I bought it brand new in hardback from Amazon, damn it, besides that it is a very charming book! Also been reading various id guides of bats and shield/squash bugs and a bit on the archaeology of animal bones.
