The redwing bird rarely visits gardens except when there is snow on the fields.

Just watched Quantum of Solace. Not seen it before - it was okay but a script might have helped! Not up to Bond standards.

I've got The Whole Day Through on my TBR list so I'm glad to see you liked it, Inver. I've not read any other of his books, and I really wanted to read Notes From An Exhibition but it wasn't in the 3 for 2 offer and this one was, so it was this one I ended up with! Looking forward to it now

I found another new series at the end of last year, and this proves the sort of addict I am, I read all five books in the Missing series by Meg Cabot in the space of four days! I know they are an easy YA series, but I loved them, and as usual, once I start a series I have to read all the book as soon as I can.

You really should have spoiler tagged that - it's not news to me, but CB has already said - a couple of times - that she is trying to avoid spoilers!
Yes, please spoiler tag anything plot related for the new series!
I don't mind finding out actors who are going to be in it, or writers, or directors etc., but please try to avoid monsters, aliens, planets, returning characters, episode titles and anything to do with the stories themselves.

I didn't even open a book yesterday
Must do better today ...

Great review, Chimera - I've seen this author mentioned a few times now, and all the books sound intriguing, so I'm adding him to my wishlist now

You might want to have a look at the Lost Mojo Support Group thread! Lot's of us have been there, and there's some good suggestions and support if you need it

The one with the bloke in the psychiatrists chair who opens his mouth and audio for classic adverts comes out.

Note to self: Remember to nominate The Labyrinth for a reading circle, if the catagory comes up.
It's already been used in Feb 2006

I hope so.
As much as I love DT, I hope so too. Time for a fresh start, and no looking back.
-
Always best to end something while everyone still loves it as well - nothing worse than an author writing too many books in a series and them getting worse. Let's hope Jack Spratt will go out on a high!

Went around the charity shops too but there wasn't much I fancied, and any that I did were in a really bad state. I did manage to find Labyrinth by Kate Mosse though, which was lucky as I got Sepulchre by the same author before xmas in the same shop. They were actually having a sale so I got not one, but two copies, both in excellent order for 95p!! I couldn't make up my mind which one to take, so I got the other copy for my friend
I hope you like them, Charm! I read them both on consecutive summer holidays and enjoyed them as a light read with good page turning plots.
