  1. I don't really have a TBR pile, I just read a book, head on over to my local bookstore once I've finished it, and pick up a new one. I'd never buy a whole load of books at once, because what if, for instance, you're going through a detective story phase, and you get bored of 'em, you'll have loads of unread books you don't want.
  2. Jack Torrance thought: Officious little prick. The Shining - Stephen King
  3. The only book I've ever read that I knew the end at the beginning was Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, but only because Bill himself put it there. I was always resisting temptation to read the last page whenever I read the newest Harry Potter book. I normally just read the last line of the book, mainly because that usually gave nothing away, but still tantalised my mind.
  4. I read because I love books. Pretty simple really!
  5. Duma Key by Stephen King was brilliant, yet creepy. Probably my favourite King novel, I quite literally couldn't put this book down, that was until I fell asleep.
  6. I read the last Harry Potter in one sitting, simply because everytime I put it down, my mind kept going over all tnhe details and I kept speculating what was going to happen! Loved those books.
  7. I can read any time of the day, every time of the day. I usually just read whenever I've got some spare time, but if I'm really stuck into a book I just disconnect my phone and read!
  8. The only books that I try to read as fast as possible are usually books that are part of a series. After I'd read a couple of Harry Potters, I was literally scrambling to open up the next one and find out what was going to happen! I usually spend my time on books, especially ones that are beautifully written and that really enthrall me. I spent like 2 months reading the Lord of the Rings, one factor being it's huge, the other being it's brilliant.
  9. I can never read more than one, otherwise my brain gets confuzzled and goes into lockdown.
  10. I've got one bookcase in my bedroom, where I keep all my decent classics. I have a large, oak bookcase downstairs with some more books in, just the ones I very rarely read, this bookcase is really just for making my house look good .
