! Hopefully New Moon will be better, with a man directing it, it may not be as cheesy *fingers crossed*
-
Yeah it was surprisingly sad, and I'll be honest
I didn't expect so many of them to die
-
Ahaha I just googled spider monkey, very funny, but I agree with the cringeworthy lines, it's a shame really :/
-
I was really sad when Dobby died too, other than that the saddest deaths for me were Fred, Lupin and Tonks
-
Yeah it really does, the first time I saw it I howled with laughter and brought my BF running from another room to see what was wrong!
-
Vanish adverts are always annoying :/
-
And my sister asked me the other day - "You know when Bella walks into the classroom and he pulls that face, is it because she's eaten garlic?"
I'll admit I laughed out loud
Although that face he makes really does look like he's smelling something terrible and stinky

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it very much Beth, but I agree about the
Gomez table thing, it's so cringeworthy, I really dislike that part, and I always felt the frozen feet thing was just that tad too much, bordering on brutal really.
I hope you enjoy your next read more!

I hope she writes a book about Alice and Jasper, about them before they joined the cullens, then up to just after they've moved in with them, that would be awesome, I do love them as a couple, they're just so perfect. I have to admit I love Emmett too though, he's funny in the books. Unfussed about Rosalie and Esme as neither really play a large role.

I like reading non-fiction books, but for some reason I don't read them nearly as often as I do fiction books
-
Yay, so glad you liked it!
Elena is my favourite in the series
-
Aww that's lovely Kookie!
-
Ohh that's awesome Kate, and I love the naughty cats
-
Yeah
I agree, I hope it gets renewed, I've really enjoyed it so far, curious to how the series will end

Hmm, I'm a bit 50/50 about this, I have the film tie in of The Reader, and also of P.S. I Love You, mostly because I loved the film cover of PS I Love You, and I thought it was nicer than the envelope cover, even though I hate the film adaptation. I'm generally unfussed and will go with what I think looks better, or if the film version is significantly cheaper then I'll go with that, which I've noticed has happened with Slumdog Millionaire is a few pound cheaper on Amazon than Q&A. I hate the new Twilight cover with Bella and Edward on the front, would much rather the original that matches the rest of the set. I'm curious to see if they'll release a movie version of The Time Traveler's Wife, as it's my favourite book, if it's nice I may pick up the movie cover copy so I have both, but we'll see
-
I didn't like the movie much either, but I still love the books
Just kind of treat them as different things that's how I do it, I'm hoping with a different director that New Moon will be much better, but then again, with no Edward....
-
I've heard the new Harry Potter differs a lot from the book
-
This thread is really making me want to read them again
-
I've only been watching since Tennant has been Doctor, but my little sister loves them all, even the old ones, so perhaps you should try watching one, if you don't like them you don't have to watch more
-
I love it too, but we seem to be in the minority, it's looking like it won't get renewed for a second season which is a real shame! I've even heard they're not airing the 13th (last) episode, they're ending with episode 12, I really don't understand why people don't like it, i think it's great, and I love Victor and Sierra
Do you have a favourite?
As for the no post thing, I don't think anyone else on here watches it, it's not aired in the UK yet and I know a lot of the active members live here, so won't have seen it.
-
Jasper and Carlisle did too didn't they?
-
Michael (my BF) is making me a roast dinner tonight! This will be the first one he's ever made as usually it's my job, so I'm going to enjoy it!
-
I didn't think it was good as it could have been, but it was still good to watch DT, he's a brilliant Dr. Who will be sad to see him go

We're having pizza take out tonight

Yeah I definitely agree, and I think that
Tonks and Lupin was harsh, leaving little baby Teddy
