People who text you at 3am to say 'are you awake?' thereby waking you up.
Argh, I hate this too!! I'm always tempted to text back 'No'
-
Ooooh, thanks for posting this! I have no idea who most of those artists are though . I'm glad Muse are on there again, seeing as it was Stephenie Meyer's 'soundtrack' when she wrote the books.

I picked up The Catcher In The Rye at ASDA. It was reduced because it looked a bit haggard but never mind.

On! "Super human moron who wears a peacoat, has a little bouffant and performs circus tricks"
That might not be exactly right..but it's close enough.
-
Walk The Line, I think. Or Twilight.

Haha! How cute is that?! Love it

It took me ages to get into this as well. At least to about 60 pages in, so you're almost there ScarletBella! Ended up really enjoying it too.

On a less enchanting note, I wandered into TWO bookshops today and completely failed to buy anything... what's wrong with me???
I did that last week. I did question my sanity a bit!
I haven't done any reading today. I'm currently reading Vulnerable by Amy Lane and so far, I'm not impressed. It's full of errors, really obvious ones and the story isn't great so far either. Still, I'll carry on with it!
About to make a list in my diary (so I don't forget in the future) of which books so far this year have had an impact on me. Off the top of my head, I've thought of Testimony, The Time Traveller's Wife, Water For Elephants, The Outcast and Boy A. I'm sure there's more, I'll have to check in my lil notebook!

I went to see 500 days of Summer which I thought was quite enjoyable. Quirky and really funny in places. Also has an awesome soundtrack. Recommended!
-
Just finished Boy A. I liked it a lot, but wasn't blown away. The subject fascinated me more than the actual book. Still, very good.

I'm not religious in any way and there's nothing I wouldn't read. Except books on religion.
I'm the same.

Wow! Congratulations . I bet you could reach 120 easy!

Rude people in supermarkets, I probably deserved it due to the fact I am slightly on the larger size, I was in asda with my sister and this woman rather than said 'excuse me' (I am not totally oblivious and very courteous) but I honestly did not know she was there, she rammed her trolley into me, causing me to fall into the display I was standing in front, it did not topple thankfully but it did hurt, the woman just kept walking, my sister went after her and demanded an apology, the reply was 'she was in my way'
Nice.
Good manners cost nothing
That's horrible!! I would've done the same as your sister. I cannot stand people like that. How rude!

Recently I've been having a tough time (nothing major but it's important to me) and I've found myself reading a lot more. The escapism is fantastic. Even with a lot on my mind, I can lose myself in a book. It's made me love my most recent reads more, the fact they've been a 'support' when I've needed them.

That's what I can get like, Scarlet! I was reading a really great book recently and apparently my mum was talking to me for ages, even saying my name a few times. I didn't know at all! I was too busy in a different world. Cocktail party effect did not work at all.

I'm starting The Host by Stephenie Meyer later. I tried to read this a few weeks ago but couldn't get into it so I'm giving it another try
Stick with it. I found the first 60 pages hard going but I ended up loving it.
I started Boy A last night and am really enjoying it. The storyline fascinates me.

If I'm completely sucked into the book, then there could be a riot going on and I could still read. But if I'm finding the book hard to get into, then a fly daring to enter the room will bother me.

I finished The Outcast this afternoon. What a fantastic read! I loved it. I couldn't put it down once I reached a certain point.
Also bought three more books today but I'm all over the place and I can't actually remember what I bought.

There was nobody there to meet him.
The Outcast - Sadie Jones

I thought almost exactly the same. I really disliked Elena. You're more generous with your rating though! I would give it 1.5/5
-
I turned two of my sisters into fans too! They're addicted, just like me now.
-
I've not read anything today but I read quite a lot of The Outcast yesterday. I'm quite liking it at the moment. I also bought The Shining yesterday!
-
It's happened to the book I'm reading at the moment and it's bugging me! Keep trying to scratch it off but it's not moving.

I had spaghetti on toast.
