Birdsong Or children's laughter?
-
Hi Chrissy! I like Danielle Steel, Tilly Bagshaw, Jackie Collins and more recently Debbie Macomber. I do like chick lit but as long as it has a good story with characters I can relate with! and you....
Crime or quirky usually, although this place has definitely sent me off into different genres. My wishlists and To Be Read pile(s) are huge now!
We have a sub section dedicated to Women's Fiction / Chick Lit. here, you may enjoy having a good rummage through there.

ETA What authors / books are you into W?
-
Hello W! Welcome to the forum.
Which one have you read? The crochet one, or the Neil Gaiman?
-
I had forgotten about that ridiculous bit of nonsense.

Patricia Cornwell for me. Her early Scarpetta novels though never exceptional were entertaining fair, but they started to go down hill when she started to sniff the film rights.
Film rights or general malaise? I agree that she sure has 'gone off'.
James Patterson is my vote, alongside Ms Cornwell. He just doesn't care enough anymore, so I don't buy them anymore.
Lastly, that Will Shakespeare. He writes a load of good, varied stuff, and then nothing for years! What's up with that?

Gotta love Gary Sinise!
Oh indeed you do!

Michael Palin?
Jim
Ooh, good one! Michael Palin is definitely a contender.

Sir Ian McKellen.

Bare feet.
Mayonaise OR Salad Cream?
-
Patrick Moore. I think he is just brilliant.

Sully
Frisbee OR Beach Ball?
-
The latest Star Trek movie.
What did you think of it? I watched it recently and really enjoyed it.

Thanks Raven ~ I had only noticed the Sunday/Monday ones!
-
The Sunday Telegraph, and tomorrow's Daily Telegraph are carrying (respectively) 'Dr.Who ~ Pest Control' parts one and two. It's an adventure specially written for audio and read by a Mr D. Tennant.
-
I'm slowly carrying on with Lisa Gardner's 'The Neighbour'. The slowness is not due to a wavering mojo but lack of opportunity though.
-
Nicely rounded assessment of the episode and implications Raven.

We have been invited out to a barbeque tonight. Outside in a lovely garden, someone else cooking, and not being allowed to help clear up. Yep, I think I can cope!

I have just had a wonderful homemade pork, chicken and mushroom risotto made by my son. Yummy.

The site, fantasticfiction.co.uk is a really good site to find similar books / authors. There were a few listed under Kate Jacobs.
