We are off for a few days next weekend to North Wales. I will be taking 'The Hobbit' that I am slowly re reading, 'A Certain Slant Of Light', a book I so very much want to read as I just know I will adore it. I tried to start this at the height of of my missing mojo time, and I KNOW I will love it. I'm also taking a couple of local area (to North Wales) history books and some castle info. I say take a few books Inver ~ a few different ones to suit any mood. PS Have a lovely time.

It really depends on the book, such as whether I am having to read it versus wanting to, whether I intend on keeping the book etc., but unless the cover is hanging off or its been completely scrawled over, I am happy with it being readable.

I love, love, love 'Brazzaville Beach', and really enjoyed 'Restless', so I am looking forward to reading what you think of them. 'The Last Thing I Remember' sounds so intriguing, I am having to hold back from looking on Amazon.
