    World Cup 2010

    They were definitely a bit naughty on the pitch, Univerze. It's been a funny ol' world cup really, something was missing, but I can't quite figure out what.

  5. There's a little footie match taking place tonight, we thought we might take a peek.
  6. We are off for a few days next weekend to North Wales. I will be taking 'The Hobbit' that I am slowly re reading, 'A Certain Slant Of Light', a book I so very much want to read as I just know I will adore it. I tried to start this at the height of of my missing mojo time, and I KNOW I will love it. I'm also taking a couple of local area (to North Wales) history books and some castle info. I say take a few books Inver ~ a few different ones to suit any mood. PS Have a lovely time.

  12. Hello footiemad, and welcome to the forum. I had a look on Amazon, and came up with these few pages that might be what you are looking for. They seem to cover a good range of players, so fingers crossed.
  13. German shepherd. (I think it may be a Blue Peter thing ~ but it's the first thing that came to mind!)
  14. It really depends on the book, such as whether I am having to read it versus wanting to, whether I intend on keeping the book etc., but unless the cover is hanging off or its been completely scrawled over, I am happy with it being readable.
  15. I love, love, love 'Brazzaville Beach', and really enjoyed 'Restless', so I am looking forward to reading what you think of them. 'The Last Thing I Remember' sounds so intriguing, I am having to hold back from looking on Amazon.

  17. My copy is still gazing at me from (one of) my TBR shelves. I must make sure I read it sooner rather than later, as you have me all excited about it.
