lol, I haven't noticed there is "Introductions" subforum Hi! as you may guess, my name is Aleksandra and Lexi is my nickname I live in Zagreb which is capital of Croatia. Please feel free to correct me if I spell/write something wrong, I'm always willing to improve my english I started reading books as soon as I could read and haven't stopped since I'm 21 years old and in college now, so I don't have as much free time as I would like to have to read as much as before. Now I mostly read in english, it feels to me like my native language, which is croatian, and I like to experience books as they were written, not translated Beside that, I'm a huge music lover, I like learning new languages (spanish at the moment), watching anime, writing songs.. well, ask anything else you want to know ^^ I'm happy to be here and hopefully make some new friends
  9. thank you! well, whatever it is, I hope we'll have fun here :)

  11. I can't believe nobody wrote anything about this amazing author! Here is the list of her books: Single novels Risen Glory Fancy Pants Hot Shot Honey Moon Kiss an Angel Dream a Little Dream Lady Be Good First Lady Just Imagine Breathing Room Ain't She Sweet? Chicago Stars Series It Had To Be You Heaven, Texas Nobody's Baby But Mine This Heart of Mine Match Me if You Can Natural Born Charmer I won't describe each one of them, I suggest you look here for short preview of her books --> http://www.harpercollins.com/author/microsite/books.aspx?authorid=18028 my favorite is "Nobody's baby but mine" For all the romantic souls, a biiiiiiiiig recommendation
  12. couldn't agree more last cd I bought was from Johnny Cash "I walk the line". He is one of my favorite singers, and although I already have all his opus, I just had to have this cd in my hands
  13. same here although I got a few laughs for "Remember me?" (main character's name is Lexi ) and for those who haven't read shopaholic series, there is no need to read them in any order (although I had).
  14. I loved this book for its difference. It isn't just happily-ever-after type of book, it has so many ups and downs, so much of life itself, not just some idealistic love story. I haven't read any of Cecilia's other books, so i don't know if it's always her style, but I hope so..
  15. wow.. I'm really glad to see somebody here reads his books because I think they are great My favorite is Gone for good, and I've just bought his newest, Hold tight. I prefer his stand-alone books; those books about Myron Bolitar just don't click well with me probably because Myron himself annoys me, oh well.
  16. Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a medical examiner from books by Patricia Cornwell. She uses her mind (as in thinking, not anything supernatural )to track down serial killers, with her niece Lucy, friend Pete Marino and boyfriend Benton. Cornwell wrote a whole bunch of books about her and her cases and I just can't wait for the next one
  17. Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer Mort by Terry Pratchett (I love the others too, but this one is my favorite) Harry Potter series (always a child ) His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer (still don't know how to pronounce author's name ) Myst series by Miller brothers (I cried when the cat died ) all the books from George R.R. Martin.. and many more, but this ones for a start
  18. lol, even if I tried everything I've heard of, I think there would still be some food I haven't tried but I could never ever eeeeever try snails *yuck* not willingly anyways
  19. sushi.. I never thought it would be so delicious I've been a fan of Japan (culture, animation, food) for a while but I've just recently started experiencing with the food and I love it If you don't like a raw fish, you can always use one from a can, and if you don't like fish at all, you can still make it taste great with vegetables or something else
  20. I hope she liked it I like fantasy and SF type of books.. and I was just amazed and thrilled with this book If she liked it, she might like the books from Anne Rice too
  21. I've read Harry Potter books before the movies.. but somehow I always thought the second movie was better than the second book. Don't know really why, it just felt that way Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is my favorite book and now they made a movie.. I saw a trailer and it was a big "lol". Hope the movie is better than the trailer. As for the vice versa, I've never saw a movie and then read a book upon which movie was made.. I suppose I never liked any movie enough to read a book, or I liked it too much to read a book
