  1. I don't know ANYONE who reads for pleasure like me, which is kinda annoying because then I can't really talk about books with any of my friends
  2. Iv never seen Gavin and Stacy but everyone says how good it is, so I surpose I should! Is there a series on at the moment?
  3. Ahhhh I can't do it for too long though in the boiling heat cause I get so burn't! And then the sun hurts my eyes so I have to lie on my back and hold the book in front of the sun!

  7. If I lend, I never forget! Everyday i'll be like how are you getting on with that book? Just to remind them not to keep it thinking it belongs to them
  8. Usually I do swaps instead of lending - then we can discuss both the books
  9. I can never read in the bath because i'm so worried about dropping the book in the bath and ruining it or just generally getting it wet - I love my books to be in perfect condition
  10. I agree! I loved 'The Phantom of the Opera' on stage, and I would love to see Les Miserable!

  12. If I like 'The Haunting of Toby Jugg' i'll definatly try more of his books! If I like one, i'll usually get the rest of the authors works
  13. I found the film and book disturbing in a good way (if that makes sense), like I had to go and tell EVERYONE about this brilliant film I had seen and get everyone else to watch it ASAP! They're both definatly favourites in my book and film lists
  14. I always think back to stuff iv done at school and im like hmmm, I wonder what happened to that book? I must find it to read and look back at, which I do, so I can't get rid of anything

  18. Thanks - I hope i'll enjoy it too I saw 'The Haunted Airman' on BBC4 quite a while ago when it was on, and I remember thinking it was really good. Ages passed and I just forgot about it. Then, I went to see Twilight, and afterwards I looked up Robert Patterson because I knew I recognised him from something other than Harry Potter. I then realised it was 'The Haunted Airman' I saw a while ago, so I asked for the book for Christmas which I got and im now currently reading, and im looking for a copy of the programme to watch again
  19. 'The First Casualty' is on my reading list from school so i'll be reading that in 2009! My friend Zoe loves WWI literature even though she doesn't do English A-level, so I brought her the book for christmas, and now were in competetion to see who can finish it first!
  20. I do that - I can never go for the first few books on a shelf!
  21. I love ALL musicals, and they're definatly my favourite genre of film! My all-time favourite musical (and film!) is....... MOULIN ROUGE!
