  5. thank you- I thought I`d seen him! I enjoyed Whitechapel and was happy with the ending, I thought it was a really good thriller, it certainly kept people guessing. I`m sure we`ll be seeing more of the team, I hope so anyway.

  17. Sounds interesting, anyone well known? Last year the local primary school had a childrens author (can`t remember the name) and an illustrator in to do workshops with groups of children. I think that went down well with everyone.

  19. I work in a school, so we usually mark the day by having people in to read/tell stories, and often we make a class book of some kind. It`s usually a fun day and the children, who are all special needs, all get something out of it.

  22. Since I first looked at this thread, when I`m in a bookshop I look at bookmarks as much as I do books! I can`t imagine not having a bookmark, I`ve always had some around at home, but they were never that interesting before. Now they`ve taken on a whole new meaning.
