  1. Oh! I've read "P.S. I love you" too (before the movie came out). I thought it was pretty good. I want to read The Apprentice even more so now 'cause of the rating, haha.
  2. I thought this book was okay. Just okay though, for an easy read which gave me a break from hardcore lit. What I liked about the story was the sentence flow. As well, I was interested in what the story would bring. Like you, I loved the blurb in the back of the cover. However, I have to agree that there's more hype than there should be. Twilight wasn't mind-blowing like Harry Potter (with which it should not be compared!) but it was fun to read. Honestly, the characters were a bit flat; we have no clue what Bella did before Forks and we don't know what Edward did before meeting Bella. We know that Bella is clumsy but it doesn't show anywhere. The plot was fairly good, as it keep me reading for days. I admit, it's not bad. But it could have been better. I'm just a tad disappointed. It's probably because everyone talks about it as if it's the next Harry Potter.
  3. This looks like a great plot. I'm really into fantasy right now so I'll look around for this. So this story ties into the Icarus story (about the wax-wings melting)? I hope it won't end in melancholy like the myth.
  4. I'd say Jacob because he's the least 2D out of the other characters. I mean, we don't know much about Bella, Edward, .. the rest of the Cullens, in terms of character because they were not described well enough. I like Jacob because even though he was rejected by Bella, he persisted. I haven't read the whole series though so my mind might change!
  5. 1. Pride and Prejudice 2. Jane Eyre 3. To kill a mockingbird. Yum.
