Hey you! So glad you're getting you bcf mojo back It's pretty quiet without ya. Goodness Midsummer does sound like a big affair over there, seems a shame now that we don't celebrate over here. I love the way the climate is too, I've always loved the thought of living somewhere where the winters are snowy and dark but the summers are good. I hope you can make up your mind and will have a fantastic time!

Still don't know what we're doing about my son, sort of heading towards the idea of letting him stay and he knows it so he seems to be on his best behaviour! Hope it lasts I see what you mean about him making sure he doesn't **** up himself! Never thought of it that way although he will be well warned if he does screw up it will be the last chance gets!

Nice to meet ya! I also love the gory serial killer type novels (especially the graphic details ). Check out my reading list for some great ones. The Tess Gerritsen ones are in order (the rizzoli series is anyway) they kind of carry on the storyline in the next book. As do the books by richard montanari which IMHO are even better!

Hiya Catwoman! How are you? I haven't read Fractured so I can't say, but I do have a good idea what you mean. The last couple of Slaughter's books haven't really been doing it for me, not even sure if I'll get Genesis They're becomming a bit 'samey', if you know what I mean, and I can't stand the character Lena Adams and unfortunately she is often a focal point Shame you're not enjoying it, sounds like she's one of your favourites normally. I did read a little gem lately called Cause For Alarm by Erica Spindler, I think you may like it, Pipread has just read it and loved it. Oh and of course you will love Mr Deaver

Hiya! Our night away went well, we went to their house yesterday afternoon for a bar-b-que. The weather wasn't great, a bit damp, but they had a big gazebo up with a patio heater in it so we were able to sit outside till late in the evening. I ate way too much rubbish and drank my fair share of alcohol too! Got home a about lunch time and then slept on the sofa for a couple of hours

My son ended up coming with us. He's been so disrespectful and cheeky all week there was no way he was staying on his own. Maybe it's a teen thing, but he has this awful habit of making me feel like dirt on his shoe so he's not in the good books at all at the min

I don't blame ya, I hate the things. I was really tempted to cut mine off before it was due I'm ok thanks, my back is really sore today and consequently I ache all over . Good news is, Kookie's back in her old room, just a few bits and pieces to do, so that will be another room done, and now OH is tiling her brother's room so he's been moved lock stock and barrel into the spare one. Its a lot smaller but hopefully he'll keep it clean easier!

I forgot to say I hold the book in my hands until it gets too hot then I put it down, I really only read in it for about 15 mins or so, usually by that stage I just want to get washed and get out, I'm usually like a lobster then! I have never dropped a book yet.

Thanks for the weight loss encouragement Mind you I've been a bit off the wagon today, we had friends up for lunch and I had a huge slice of carrot cake I baked with fresh cream, well you have to be polite don't ya But don't you lose heart, at least you didn't put on even though you had a drink and some treats. I know you feel like its all been for nothing but if you hadnt been good all week then you might have put on weight then you'd feel awful. Keep your chin up, your doing well.

Unfortunately I'm having a bit of bother opening them FB keeps saying error and it won't load up so I can send one back :motz:even just to say I can't open them in the first place!
