I know I haven't been on here much lately either so I dare say we missed each other loads! I'm doing ok thanks, sinuses really playing up with some conker headaches but other than that I'm good

Sorry your mojo has taken a battering , hopefully the plane will give you plenty of quiet time to get through The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest and bring your mojo racing back! I wouldn't take anything too heavy with ya, with any luck you won't have much time to read while with your OH!

I'm reading The Black Dagger Brotherhood series at the min by J R Ward. I'm really enjoying it and it's really helped my mojo, I think I read about 12 books in Jan! It's about vampires of course which helps and is quite adult if you know what I mean, but I don't care, I'm loving it!

I hope you have a fantastic time away and will definately catch up when you get home, I want details!

Hey Echo Thanks for the add! I'd be delighted and a very Happy New Year to you and yours! How'd you get on at the docs? Hope it went ok. I had the same thing, was sent for ultrasound (I'd began thinking I had a blooming ulcer!), turned out it was the meds I was on were ruining the lining of my stomach. I get omaprazole now and its gone! I can eat anything (mind you, thats maybe not a good thing, especially after all the rubbish I've eaten lately bak to healthy stuff methinks) Sorry did i mention i ramble on a bit lol Anyhoo, thanks again

Thanks for popping in, I'm doing ok. I'm starting to get over xmas, trying to get back into a routine & get this, reading more! Things slowly picking up a bit & kids are back to school, so slowly getting back to normal.

Sounds like you had a lovely w/end! How are you enjoying the Wii? Kookie has one but I've never tried it, I can hurt myself getting out of bed! I know my limits But the head massager sounds like heaven, I love getting my head massaged or even someone doing my hair.. which, needs cut & I was thinking of going blonde for a change, don't know, I've been blonde before but usually in the summer when I have a better colour

Piper's limited to the kitchen, she's casting badly & hairs are a prob, they're just falling off her no matter how much we brush her, we even vacuum her (which she's loves!) but it usually takes ages for her new coat to come through, it's a nightmare! Joys of having a pet eh?

Thanks for popping in, it has been a while hasn't it, too long but I know how life somehow gets in the way I'm ok thx, apart from the constant sinus headaches, going to docs about them tho so hopefully be sorted soon. It just means that I can't stay glued to the pc for ages or they get worse

The series Fi and I are chatting about is the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J R Ward. It's about vampires and is very sexy if you know what I mean , but I loved it! I will be doing my thoughts on them but on the whole series as one, it did feel like one long saga, brilliant!

The weekend went great thanks! The boys were all pretty well behaved thank goodness although prob stayed up half the night watching DVD's in the living room where they were sleeping but they didnt burn the house down or anything Then yesterday they went down to the river with a picnic and just messed about in the river as the weather was so hot. My son seemed to enjoy it. I even got to chill out most of the afternoon and read the first sookie book almost in one sitting!

How did yours go? Did the housewarming party go well? I hope you had a great time and had loads of fun!

Hey Gyre How are you? I'm good thanx, although my son just came home from 6th form in school today and announced he's went and got himself a place at college instead. He starts tomorrow! I hope it's everything he's hoping for

thank you so much for your lovely comments on my house album, its comments like those which help make the stress of it all worth while As you know its still a work in progress but I'm pleased with the result so far. Glad you liked it too thank you too for the RP pic! He's still as handsome as ever, although I did see him in the Harry Potter film the other day and he was soooo young! He's much nicer with a bit of stubble on him, then I dont feel like such a cradle snatcher!

I'm so loving No Humans Involved at the min, these books are so easy to get into especially after having read the rest Would love to see more of Elena and Clayton with their puppies!

Hey Mac, thanks! .. on both accounts, av and house Satisfying? Hmmm I guess you could say that ... after frustrating, exhausting, expensive, exciting etc. We took a bit of a break when we moved in but Dizzy (the cement mixer .. yes we named our mixer I also get 'Wendy and OH gets 'Bob' ) has been up and running lately with outside work. I'll post more pics when it's done

I'm glad you had a good weekend too mine was quiet, which I'm not complaining about mind you! The reason I can't drive is cause I had an operation on my spine last week and I'm not allowed to drive for another 5 weeks this is also the reason why I haven't been out to get any more books lately I bought 3 before I went into hospital last week and my TBR pile is growing faster than I'm reading - I've lost my reading mojo I'm afraid My OH delicately pointed out to me that since I joined a reading forum I've read less and less!!! lol

Hey there! Glad to hear you've enjoyed the book so far! I may actually start from the beginning again although I have here latest one on my TBR list and it may just be too tempting! Sorry to tell you - there's no Booth (I know he's gorgeous!) there is a detective though maybe you haven't met him yet and she doesn't work from the Jeffersonian either The series is very loosly based on the books - much better to think of it as a different thing. I used to think Cornwell was far better too but by the time I read a lot of Kathy's I find it hard to compare now - they are very similar though I think. lol

As for me? I'm getting better daily - just a pain not being able to drive

As for the weight thing, I have lost a couple of more lbs but nothing to write home about and I haven't exactly been good myself

Thanks for popping in! How was your week? I hope you really had a fantastic time and got plenty of lovely books. The weather here is hot hot hot! Great stuff and we are going for another bar-b-que on Sun again at a different friends house! The weather is supposed to stay good until the middle of the week so I'm looking forward to it. It's the friend that recently got a bulldog puppy who is absolutely adorable. Kookie can't wait, he has so much skin and wrinkles it's hard not to love him. She called him 'Brian' which just suits him so well

I don't think you're imagining it at all, the forum does seem really quiet. I suppose they're all enjoying the weather, we don't always get the glorious days in the UK.
