  1. Every two weeks! Bloody Hell! Poor you, and poor N too! Will you have internet? Does this mean you'll only be online every two weeks?? :hissyfit: bahhahaha!!!

(btw I can't sign in, to msn can you?) :D

  2. Frankie! What do you mean you can't read the book yet?? Well, I suppose I'll let you off this time but as soon as you've read it I wanna be the first to know! .. and tell your friend to keep his beer off your books or he'll have me to answer too!:theboss:

I have indeed tested the jets, they're great, so relaxing. The only thing is the bath is so big I tend to float about which plays havoc with my reading! I don't float so much with my OH in with me though ;)

Stupid bloody dog rolled in something again today and had to get another bath! I only took my eyes off her for 2 mins! :motz:She's really pushing her luck!

Great news though! My son got his exam results today and he did really well, he now has the choice of either going back to school or college, I'm delighted! :yahoo:He's pretty pleased with himself too

    Enjoy BB! xoxo

  3. Get you! Half a stone! Wow, well done :clapping: Hope it continues for you :D

Yeah I have to admit the 3rd Dex book wasn't as good as 1 and 2 but don't worry, it picks up in number 4 ;)

I haven't read any Rankin at all. For some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. Have you read anything by Erica Spindler? I read two that Lexiepiper lent to me called Cause for Alarm and In Silence and have to say I was really surprised. They were really good thrillers. Another of my favs is Richard Montanari, his The Rosary Girls, The Skin Gods, Broken Angels and Play Dead is a terrific series.

Does Emma vacuum? Oh you are so lucky! That's one thing Kookie hates with a passion, anything else she grumbles her way through but just detests vacuuming. She's keeping well yes, bored and looking forward to school again, but other than that, she's grand. She wants a summer job but is just too young yet, I admire her ambition though! I'll pass on you were askin after her :D

  4. Glad to hear it, hopefully one more day and you'll be back on top form!

He's much better thanx and I got a great nights sleep so I feel a lot better too :D Have to be in meetings all day regarding the new business, I hope they don't take too long. But I'm sure I'll be on later at sometime, hard to stay away!

  5. Glad you enjoyed the party and you even stayed pretty good foodwise! Well done you  Maybe you should start up a game club, keep your mind off food! Although I dare say you'd have to provide snacks so maybe not

I just received the first book unfortunately :( otherwise I'd probably have the next couple read by now! They are great little reads, really entertaining. So I've started the last Dexter book and I'm 10 chapters into it already, but there's no more after that! :hissyfit: Maybe have to slow down a bit :( I hope Chelsea Cain picks up a bit for you, you don't want to lose that mojo again!

  6. Glad you're going good, well apart from the hand-sprain  .. ok I have to ask, how on earth do you sprain your hand while watching a film? Sorry, I shouldn't laugh ;)

I'm much better thanks, only one sinus headache which started yesterday and is still hanging around, however I think that may be due to the fact that I could be getting the good old common cold, its going around our house :irked: Other than that, I'm a lot better, my mojo has even put in an appearance thanks to Kelley Armstrong! :D

I hope your hand doesn't affect your typing and gets better real soon :console:

  7. Glad your feeling a bit better anyway, ice cream always helps ;) I'm doing good thx. Kookie and I were baking all day, buns, biscuits and fifteens (traybake). They turned out great although I made caramel squares too which were a disaster :irked: I think I may have slightly overcooked the caramel and it turned out like toffee, rock hard toffee! My OH has been chewing on one for the last 15 mins!:lol: Bless him.

The house is great, still a building site complete with cement mixer and concrete floors, but I love it. Getting all the floors tiled at the min so we have tiles everywhere but we're just gonna take our time and do it right.

Those books do sound good, I have so much reading to do! I am still enjoying Dracula at the min though and I want to read Dexter and some Deaver books too! So many books so little time! Have you read any Dexter books? I really think you'd like him :D

  8. Good for you! I hate bad grammar, everyone should be able to read and write, its basic education for God's sake! (I better really keep an eye on mine then :icon_eek:)

    (Oh and it's " Actually, you know what?":giggle: )

  9. Good idea to reserve it, I've just finished the second book and really enjoyed it :D I know what you mean about the BDB, it can be really funny too, I loved the bit where Bella went into her needing, so funny, it made me laugh out loud! They can be a bit corny too in places but I don't care, I think they're great and they're keeping my mojo happy, it's all it seems to crave atm

Manny and Payne eh? Never even occurred to me, but now that I think about it, I think you may be right ;)

Oh btw, check out The Savannah Vampire Chronicles by Raven Hart, I think you might like them if you haven't already read them. I would describe them as a cross between Sookie Stackhouse and Anne Rice chronicles ;)

  10. Goodness me! It must be in the water around March/April time, all those xmas birthdays! We're the same! It was my daughter's (kookie on the bcf) birthday last Wed, my Mum's on Thurs, my sister's on 27th and her husband's on the 19th! I'm stuck looking for a new av, I'm feeling a bit on the mischievous side for my title too, but I may offend a few people so I'd better not

  19. Hello missus!

Just popped in to say Happy One Year Anniversary!! ... oh and to give you a big *hug*! Hope you're well :)

  20. Hello you!

My xmas was pretty quiet. We had friends for dinner on boxing day & that's it. We did get pretty well snowed in (unless you own a 4x4 & we don't )& as we live in the country, my kids weren't pleased, no matter how pretty it was! Still bad, though we can get out now, & I believe there's more snow to come! I don't mind really, as long as I have enough in.

New Year's we're going to a friends house to stay.. with our dog! Should be fun, she has a young bulldog and my rottie gets excited when she sees our cat! If we can get out at that stage.

What about you? Did you have a nice time? I'm sure the kids got spoilt rotten, & so they should! I loved seeing the faces on mine on xmas morn. Did you get anything nice? Anything planned for New Year's?

I hope you end up enjoying Marked, it was just ok for me, I'd prob read the next if it fell into my lap but i won't be looking for it. My mojo doesn't know what it wants these days.

    Hope you're well :friends0:

  21. Hello! Sorry didn't get back to you earlier, I had to go to the physio  That idea about the game club sounds great, especially if you turn it into a giant picnic game, I'd go!

Glad you ended up enjoying Chelsea Cain in the end, I'll leave it on my wishlist ;) Have you read any Stuart McBride? They are supposed to be really good, I haven't tried any but I believe you start with 'Cold Granite' :D I'll probably finish Dexter tonight :irked: I don't want to, but I can't wait to see what happens!

  22. Hello!! Ok Ok you can brag, only because you sound like a dream to have as a helper, not only a saleswoman but a transport organiser and all for free too! I'm not suprised your friend was chuffed! I'd be delighted! Next time I move (if ever) you can come organise me too! Well done girly!

Good on ya too for turning down pizza and cider too :clapping: I have been so bad this week, I've bound to have put on :( and yes I'm still on hunchie :irked: After Dexter it just seems so slow :( Seriously thinking of giving it up but that just sounds so defeatest.

Glad to see you back!

  23. Hey :006: How've you been? I haven't spoken to you in ages and thought I'd pop in and say hi :smile2:

Congrats btw on the 500 post mark!

  24. Hey Catwoman!

I'm gonna make another recommend to you then I'll shut up  Have you read any of the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay? The television series 'Dexter' is based on them. Basically Dexter is a serial killer, but with a difference, he only kills bad people. I've never read anything like it before and Dexter the character is actually quite funny, in a dark kind of way. If you have seen any of the series don't worry, it's only losely based on the books which are far better. Check out my 'charms choices' thread to see my full thoughts. I think they might surprise you! ;)

  25. Hey chesil  Thanks for popping in. You're right, I haven't been on much lately, bit under the weather but hopefully picking up again. We got hit bad by the freak storm this week too and our power went off for days and only back on limited power yet! :irked: Enough for lights, hub and laptops thank goodness but no heating or hot water  With any luck it should be on full for the easter weekend.

How are you? Anything nice planned for the weekend? Hope you have a lovely one
