  1. Hey there! :smile2: Just passin and thought I'd pop in and say hello :D How's things? Hope life is being good to you and the family! :D Take Care xoxo

  2. True. Well the classics are out for me, Salman Rushdie sounds a bit heavy so that just leaves Molly Keane, The Kite Runner or Graveyard Book (which title in itself gets my vote ).

  3. Hey Gyre! How are you hun?

thank you so much for your lovely comments on my house album, its comments like those which help make the stress of it all worth while  As you know its still a work in progress but I'm pleased with the result so far. Glad you liked it too :smile2: thank you too for the RP pic! He's still as handsome as ever, although I did see him in the Harry Potter film the other day and he was soooo young! He's much nicer with a bit of stubble on him, then I dont feel like such a cradle snatcher!

I'm so loving No Humans Involved at the min, these books are so easy to get into especially after having read the rest ;) Would love to see more of Elena and Clayton with their puppies!

Hope you have a great weekend! xoxo

  4. Hello you!

My xmas was pretty quiet. We had friends for dinner on boxing day & that's it. We did get pretty well snowed in (unless you own a 4x4 & we don't )& as we live in the country, my kids weren't pleased, no matter how pretty it was! Still bad, though we can get out now, & I believe there's more snow to come! I don't mind really, as long as I have enough in.

New Year's we're going to a friends house to stay.. with our dog! Should be fun, she has a young bulldog and my rottie gets excited when she sees our cat! If we can get out at that stage.

What about you? Did you have a nice time? I'm sure the kids got spoilt rotten, & so they should! I loved seeing the faces on mine on xmas morn. Did you get anything nice? Anything planned for New Year's?

I hope you end up enjoying Marked, it was just ok for me, I'd prob read the next if it fell into my lap but i won't be looking for it. My mojo doesn't know what it wants these days.

    Hope you're well :friends0:

  5. Happy Birthday! :balloons:

  6. Hey frankie hun

Thanks for popping in, it has been a while hasn't it, too long but I know how life somehow gets in the way  I'm ok thx, apart from the constant sinus headaches, going to docs about them tho so hopefully be sorted soon. It just means that I can't stay glued to the pc for ages or they get worse :irked:

The series Fi and I are chatting about is the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J R Ward. It's about vampires and is very sexy if you know what I mean ;), but I loved it! I will be doing my thoughts on them but on the whole series as one, it did feel like one long saga, brilliant!

Mojo waning a bit now, but will stick at it! How have you been? I see you're buying and still reading loads

  7. Charm

    Oh my! *blushes profusely!*

  9. Sounds perfect! Nice to see you fitted in a trip to a book shop as well  I've been doing that a bit too much lately :o I'm loving your new avatar too :D

  10. Happy Birthday Stephanie! Hope you've had a lovely day with lots of lovely pressies! :smile2:

  11. I posted the third and final Dexter books today, second class again. Well it did work so well the last time! Lmk when they arrive :smile2: I figured you may want them once you've read the first two

  13. Happy Birthday! :balloons:

  14. No probs. It might be an idea for you to click on The Rules tab at the top of the page and then go to New Members thread. You'll find out how to do everything there. :smile2:

    Enjoy the forum!:D

  15. Good. Decision made. Go for that one then. Then you can post your review and I can see what the hell its about! The title is intrigueing to me :D

  16. Charm

Happy Birthday Kell! Hope you're having a lovely day :D

  17. Oooh so I see! You've been redecorating! Very nice :smile2: I love seeing the different ways members have done their profiles, be warned, you can lose half a day!!

  18. I know its truely amazing how many people have suffered with the big D, I call my tablets my happy tablets lol I've been on them on and off (mostly on) for 15 yrs. Firstly because of post natal depression and then because I was bad with my back and arthritis. I know how you feel about a diff shrink too. When I moved the last time, and my doc told me I'd have to change to another GP, I cried my eyes out with worry! I've only met my new GP once so still early days. Think it'll be ok.

On another note ... its my 20th wedding anniversary today! 20 years, can you believe it? doesn't feel like it, feels like about 10. Thats good right? Means its not dragging by  Gonna postpone any celebrations though until we move, haven't got the time, so just gonna have a wee drink tonight like a mini celebration just the two of us! :D

(I will buy Dr Jekyll the next time I see it. Promise.)

  19. Not a lot really, D getting the garage finished so he can get the office set up in the upstairs of it, so the place is like a working building site again! Dizzy (the cement mixer ) hasn't stopped all week

I hope things settle down at work soon  Chat soon I hope! xo

  20. New Year hugs to you Genevieve! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and are keeping well xo

  21. Yes! :yahoo: Sounds brill already! Twisted, but just the sort of thing I like. Go for that one, if your review says its good I shall buy it and read it next ( well after 'The Broken Window', have to read it next to get it back to Ceinwenn, don't want to keep it too long on her).

  22. Oh where did the green go???

  23. Aw thanks! I'm actually looking forward to it :smile2: The only classic I've read was Dracula, when I was about 14 and I didn't realise it was a classic when I was reading it

  24. Thanks Inver for your kind thoughts and i hope your Dad's good phase lasts a good while. Unfortunately I lost my Dad in 2001 through exactly the same thing as my Mum, (seems like history repeating itself) although she seems to be suffering from it a lot longer.

They say its hereditary - theres no hope for me then! Too much of a coincidence for me to escape it methinks! lol ... If I start goin on about what time the next train is coming or asking everyone if they sure they have the same colour socks on just bann me from the forum :10_confused::crazy:

  25. No worries, no rush! :D Well I'm off to my bed, I need my beauty sleep :o I'll leave you to cause trouble on the threads ;). Don't stay up too late! :friends3::hug:
