Wow, that sounds like a lot of hard work, (I hate moving) but good for you! I'm sure your Mum and Dad were very glad to have you helping (and organising things by the sound of it!). You're Dad sounds like he's very proud of you, he also sounds a bit like mine, a man of few words but you sort of knew what he meant. Ok you're excused this time for your absence (don't make a habit of it ) I missed ya.

Our house is coming on slowly but surely. Its tiling you see, very time consuming and my OH is doing it all by himself (he's the best tiler I've seen). I don't mind though, I'm just glad to be moved in and relatively settled. I'll post pics on my profile when its done, oh in about a year!

The 8 book bookring is the Stooie Stackhouse ones on offer from Gyre by the same author who wrote Grave Sight, I enjoyed that so I signed up. They're on my wishlist too so yay! Only thing is you receive 3 books at a time! Like I said, I'll be busy.
