Sorry if this isn't very articulate but my computer deleted the long detailed post I was writing, so just quickly... Whatever the interpretation though, it definitely kept me reading!

i loved this book i thought the jumps between time were really smooth and the story was well told. I really enjoyed all the little twists and I definitely agree that Hannah was the best character as she was unconventional. I'm a bit confused as to why (something mentioned earlier) Grace would be seen as selfish for being jealous of the family? If anything I think she was portrayed as the opposite? Overall a good read though! Nothing too different but an enjoyable plot, characters and writing style.

Not sure if I've posted this in the right forum?? But anyway I'm currently reading the 'original scroll' version of this book which means no paragraphs or chapters! It is making it very difficult to decide where to pause. I'm varying between loving some parts of it but for the most part just wanting to finish it as soon as possible! What are people's thoughts on this because so far I can't see why it's considered such a great book in the leagues of "The Catcher in the Rye" and "The Great Gatsby"???? Fantastic book and well worth reading but likewise, certain parts did shock me! Has anyone read any of Lloyd Jones' other books? I'm interested to know if they're as good etc...

I have just bought this book and after reading about 3 pages I knew I was going to love it!! I have put it to one side now and am going to wait until I go on holiday to read it, so I'll be back in a month or so to comment properly!
