Thanks for all the kind welcomes! Nice to be here. Janet - yes, Des Moines is where Bill Bryson grew up. His book, The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt kid, is about growing up here. JudyB - I'm sorry to say that my username is not that interesting. It's my first initial (E) and my last name (Schulenburg) all scrinched together. I have to admit that I'm not very creative!

Okay, that just struck fear into my heart! My current TBR list is out of control. But I like it that way. If I didn't have something to read next I'd panic - what if I run out??

Have you read the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik? First book is called His Majesty's Dragon - they are very good!
