Ordered 2 regular pizza - Tuscany & Meat Galore - from Pizza Hut. It took 1 and a half hour to arrive probably because it was raining.

I bought takeaway lunch consisting of white rice with chilli clams and fried egg, from a malay halal shop.

I have read P.S. I Love You & Where Rainbows End. Both very good, sad but enjoyable.
I have recently watched P.S. I Love You. It was ok. I prefer the book.
I have also read If You Could See Me Now. Not as good the the 2 books above.
I have not read A Place Called Here yet.

Hello Connor, welcome to the forum.

One of my favourite authors. I've read The Notebook, The Wedding (follow up to the Notebook) and At First Sight.
I've watched films that are based on his books such as The Notebook, A Walk to Remember and Message in a Bottle.
The films and the books never fail to make me cry.
Has anyone read his latest book called The Choice?

Yes, i love the library especially the newer, modern ones. Besides the main library (stand alone buildings), there are also smaller in some shopping centres here. They are open everyday from 10am to 9pm, except on public holidays.

Borders, MPH, WH Smith and the library.

Beef rendang, chicken curry with basmati rice.

Unless the books are highly recommended by friends, I am totally drawn to covers. Before deciding to buy it, I'll read a few pages or even a chapter to see if its interesting enough. If it's too expensive, I'll try to find it in the library.

I keep my books in a cabinet beside my computer table in my bedroom. I only keep about 10 to 15 at a time because of shortage of space. I select my current favourites to keep and either throw the rest away or give them to friends who want them.

My earliest book related memory...
I was in kindergarten but can't read in English very well except for easy individual words. But I love books or looking at the pictures in books, rather. My parents, having never been to school before, speak only the Malay language. When my elder sister found out that I asked Mom for Jack and the Beanstalk (of the lady bird series, loads of pictures as well), she asked me to read it to her. Of course I couldn't but tried anyway. The words sounded more Malay than English. That was when I got a good thrashing from her. But that only make me more determined to be able to read.

It was full blown crying for me (what a baby)! I know its just a story but I'd love to have someone like Noah .
I cried when reading the book as well. I've been trying to persuade the BF to watch the DVD with me but with a smile, he said he's not keen in watching Rachel McAdams making out with her real life BF. But I think its more like he's not interested in seeing me in a crying fit .

What in the world is Rogan Josh????
It is an indian lamb curry dish. Right Kell?
I had white rice, 2 fried chicken wing, coleslaw and chilli dipping sauce. It cost me S$2.50 from the store near my place. Kind of on a budget . That was more than 5 hours ago and I'm hungry again now!!!

Hi Magdalen,
I'm new here too. What kind of books do you like to read?
-
Why was that, March? Was it because it was non-fiction?
That's true. I enjoy fiction more than non-fiction.
Whilst reading the book, I can only imagine the frustrations and helplessness that Ron felt. And the violence done to Debbie prior to her murder is too much for me to handle. I can be overly sensitive, at times.
