Fay I do recommend trying another of Kings books before you give up on them,Try Pet Sematary or Misery, the first one I ever read was Pet sematary, and I've been hooked since that was 16 years ago:readingtwo:

I must admit I don't go in oxfam, I generally tend to go to the other less known charity shops, the cats protection league, age concern,PDSA,help the aged,and some other local charity shops.It's not that I wouldn't ,even though it is a charity shop it don't look like one,(if that makes any sense)

I know this thread was last year ,but I am a fan of kellerman,and his wife's Faye currently reading one of her's now I've finished king's cell,but find it hard to get her books in stores

Has anyone read these funny teenage books,Dancing in my nuddy pants(something like that as these books belong to my niece) they are a very good read no matter your age

The Dark tower books are a truly addictive read, just get through the first one,I was a bit dubious when I started reading it

I find that I have to read the books first, not the films or series. The one book of his I cannot get into is The tommyknockers,I have the book and I have tried many times but I just can't get into it,But all the others are brill

My local charity shop has nearly new books from 20p and hardbacks from 80p,I love going in there, my last one was Jonathan Kellerman, Rage which was 20p,Ihave got afew Maeve Binchy's from there as well:readingtwo:

I have to use bookmarks, hate tatty books,I do have a few because I always lose them and I used receipts if there's nothing else to hand,I have used money(from hubby's wallet:lol: )
