    I dont really have much time to do anything else!! I spend far too much time on the internet and other than reading the rest of my time is spent with my daughter, reading writing and generally making things. We are onto paper mache masks at the moment!

  13. Hi Victoria, welcome to the forum. Just wanted to warn you that this place can get quite addictive, so much so, that I cannot find the time to read.
  14. I read and studied an awful lot of books when I was at school and college. One that really stood out for me though was ' I know why the caged bird sings' by Maya Angelou. I also enjoyed Alan Bennetts 'Talking Heads' and Ted Hughes 'The crow'. We did a lot of Shakespeare and modern poetry too.
  15. Ha Ha... I know what you mean, the only way to cool off here in the summer is to pop down to the beach and sit under the shade of a palm tree!! I dont swim in the sea though...I have a little paddle. People dont seem to realise how difficult it is living in the sun!!!
  16. I always take a bit of chick lit. Something really light hearted and easy reading is just the job for a beach hoilday.
