I have recently got into fantasy and i have been told to read his books as well as Raymond Feist.
I have got hold of these David Eddings bookd really cheap off ebay:
Polgara the sorceress
All the Elenium books and all the Tamuli books
Do these books have to be read in specific order of series?
If so i will have to get the others off ebay or from charity shops
What do people think of Raymond Feist too

Deciding what to read at the minute this time i shall get the author correct instead of calling Rubenfeld Rubenstein.......
MMMMMMmmmmmmm choices choices...........
(Goes off to ponder choices whilst being followed by chubby but purry kitty who likes to snuggle whilst mummy reads)

On the whole i did enjoy it and i liked the twist at the end but i would not madly rush to buy other books of his.
I like my thrillers with more thrill but i did like alot of the characters in this book though

Hhhhhmmmmmm reading between the lines i believe she feels Danse Macabre was a step too far however i beleivev she does not read the reviews on amazon both .com and .co.uk.
I am one of theose who buys her books hoping them to get better and i am looking forward to rereading the series as the early books were amazing

The Diana Gabaldon books are great. I assume that you have already read Cross Stitch and Dragonfly in Amber since they are not on your list. Did you enjoy them?
I did really enjoy them, they were the sort of books i really enjoy reading, in the sense that they are books which you would not normally read but you stumble across them and love them

I knew i shouldn't have looked on the website

BAD and sometimes ICKY.
I can actually blush if i am reading it on a bus too and i am prudish
I just adored her earlier stories with more action and the relationships between the characters thatr weren't just sex
-
I known what you mean Anita does the fighting herself whereas Meredith hides behind her guards!!!
However i have them all and really love them but more action less icky sex
-
I read this and really enjoyed it, i also leant to my friend who loved it too.

I thought i would really enjoy this book but i found it very hard going and it made me fall asleep alot! I would read about 5 pages and nod off
I feel because i love vampire and dracula books that maybe i built it up alot in my head rather than having an open mind but i am glad i read it.
In fact i have just been to Whitby so i feel another reading of Dracula coming on!!
-
I bought the trilogy off ebay a couple of years ago after being recommended them by a friend as i read and really enjoyed stonhenge by him. I am glad i read these books i really enjoyed them but i am even more pleased that i had all 3 books as i read them all straight away.
I have just bought the third in the saxon series:

So i can read them all in one go but they a bargain i got the first book free with the second book in tesco for 3.73 and when it came out in paperback and the the third i got on special offer in waterstones for 3.99.

I love her books both the anita blake series and the meredith gentry series but i have found they have lost their way with too much sex and little plot so i hope they get back to the form the earlier books had
