Hi Abby!
Thanks for thinking of me! I'm doing a bit better now. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend. What have you got planned? How's the knee holding up? *hugs* to you.

Hi Dan,
Funnily enough, I've never really read any chick-lit. I have the Bridget Jones books and I recently bought the first two Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich (One for the Money and Two for the Show) but I haven't gotten around to reading any of them yet. I hear Evanovich's novels are supposed to be pretty good - I believe they have mystery thrown in as well, so maybe you'd enjoy that. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I'll let you know if I hear of any other recommendations!
I like your profile pic. I stayed in a hotel just down from those signs several years ago. I've heard that it has closed down now (hope it wasn't anything I said or did )
Cheers,
Kylie

Hi Dan,
I remember being asked if I wanted that when I got my mortgage. That's when you're covered if you can't make repayments for some reason, right? I decided not to get it because I was pretty much borrowing at my limit anyway and didn't want the extra cost. I was also confident that I had enough money in savings to keep me going for a while if I lost my job for some reason. Failing that, I figured I could get a second job or take in a roommate. But basically, I'm a tight-a*** and don't like paying money unnecessarily (but I'm aware that could end up being a bad decision!)
I wish I could give you better advice, but unfortunately it's one of those terrible decisions you have to make yourself (man, I hate when someone can't just tell me the wisest, and correct, course of action to take!)
Best of luck with it all! I hated the whole process of buying a house and hope I don't have to go through it again any time soon.

Hi Frankie,
I'm sorry you've been feeling so poorly. I was getting a bit worried when you hadn't posted in so long (not that I'm stalking you or anything, but I miss you when you're not around! ). I really hope you're doing better now and that the streets have been washed for you.
I don't watch that RSPCA show because it looks so sad when there are trapped or hurt or unhappy animals. I guess they would have happy endings though?

Hi Frankie!
I don't usually see you around here at this time. I'm still at work for the next 15 minutes and then it will be weekend time for me. Yay!! I've been looking forward to it all week. I hope you have a good weekend.
I'm planning on going to the gym a bit and hopefully I'll start reading The Complete Polysyllabic Spree alongside my other current read. I saw a girl on an exercise bike at the gym reading the other day, so now I might be brave enough to try it too.

Hi Frankie! I'm here! I just stepped out for the first time all day to buy a few groceries, and I get back home and it's all systems go! I'm trying to get the hang of everything. It's all so different
How have you been? I've missed you!

Hi Frankie. I wasn't online much on the weekend, but I had a great time. I had breakfast with my Mum and then my ex took me to some of my favourite secondhand book shops where he bought me some books I restrained myself a lot though (I'm actually getting better...I used to buy books I wanted even if they were a horrible edition or very tatty; now I'm a little more careful).
I took a photo of the inside of one of the stores to show you because it's chaotic and I think you'd like it. I meant to take more photos but forgot
And I got the second Stieg Larsson book from my brother.

Hi Gyre, I'm well thanks. How are you?
Thanks for your comments on my photos. I'd like to do trapezing again one day. After the failed attempt that left my hanging awkwardly, I had very sore arms/shoulders for about a week afterwards. I didn't realise my partner had taken a photo at the time. I think it's pretty funny when I look at it now!

Hi Katrina! I hope you and your family are doing well.
Have a good day at the book shoppe.
