    Ah I know people like that in work :) - fortunately their are a lot of bookish types here too. Mostly communications/telephony software (voice over IP) writing internet based solutions for internal telephone systems, call centres and the like.

    I'm a software developer but I studied maths at uni so I (sadly) tend to get excited when I hear people talking about numbers and equations :) Do you mean change to a masters degree in elec engineering or do a masters in something different?
