Chesil ~ I don't remember seeing them playing chess in the trailer (I saw the picture and it did look odd seeing Edward in holiday mode ) the hair clip was gorgeous! and I'm glad they didn't show the dress either. After some reservations about Bill Condon, its nice to see that he has stuck to the book (with some small changes, the wedding being outside but all looks lovely). With regards to how first film will end, I read that its supposed to finish just as I will need to watch the trailer again to check (its a hard life )

No problem Ben I like the films but I like the books more, I know they are not mind~blowing reads or anything, they are easy reads.

The first book I read by him was 'Phantoms', which I thought was okay, I did enjoyed the Odd Thomas books, very well done

Great discussion Maureen I think they wanted to take Bod because he was young (and fresh) and also because he lived in the graveyard, they probably felt that no one would come after him. I think the reason they didn't eat Bod right away was because I got the impression they liked it when the victims were scared, so they were trying to build Bod's fear.

I do indeed know loads of kudos to you peace because you avoided everything BD related! I gave up after about...5 seconds (after the honeymoon pictures were released) but I always make my mind up once I see the final product.
