  1. It was such an intense episode last night, great acting all round, Carl really annoyed me though with his constant smirking!, I was thinking, 'take this situation seriously!!!!'

Chas gives him what for today apparently

    :)

  2. Thanks Gyre. I'm so pleased to have found Murakami. I'm really hoping to find more of his works at the book fair next month. :D

I finished my Trixie Belden book earlier and now I'm going to start Bogus to Bubbly: An Insider's Guide to the World of Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. It's a companion guide to the series I just finished reading. Looks good!

I hope you find some too Kylie, happy reading :irked:

  3. I wonder if she'll be turned in the end? Do you guys think she will?

I used to think so (bear with me fans) but the more I read (especially the later books) I could not help thinking that at some point, Sookie despite her feelings for Bill, Eric, Alcide, she will just think, 'who needs the drama' and end up with Sam, who even though he is a shape shifter, has the lest dramatic life, plus he owes a bar!

    :D

  4. I'm really back into my reading groove and I'm flying through my TBR pile, which is a good thing because there's a big book fair coming up in about 6 weeks, and the more I read before then, the less guilty I will feel when I go on a buying spree! :irked:

I like your way of thinking Kylie and I am really pleased you enjoyed South of the Border, West of the Sun:D

  5. They're lovely pics, Gyre. I particularly like the first two in your original post, and the sheep :D Scotland is so beautiful. I only got to spend 3 days there and decided I could happily live there. :irked:

    Thanks Kylie :D:friends0:

  6. Awh Gyre your pics are great, it looked like a beautiful day in a beautiful place and you captured the beauty well. I have to say the sheep is my fave :D You could always paste a red star on the pic :irked:

I might do that chrysalis_stage :D the place is called Cove and its a few miles down the road from where I live, it was the first time I went, it is such a pretty spot, and on my soap box here (I also mentioned this in my photos), but people treat it as a dumping site which is sad because it is such a lovely place :exc:

  7. Aww sheepie :irked: And yes, i agree with Roxi, that is my favourite too, it's a good catch ^^ I love scenes like the last pic too, it's beautiful.

    Thanks Rawr :D

  8. I love the middle of the three you posted Gyre, such a small, simple part of nature and it looks beautiful with the light reflecting on the water :irked:

Thanks Roxi, I was really pleased with that photo because I am not the best at taking photos but I really liked, as you mentioned, how the light reflected on the water. :D

  9. Rawr, chrysalis_stage, lovesreading06, Echo you are ALL really talented :D

    Bookbee, I love your picture!!!!

These are photos I took a few months ago on a rare great weather day in Scotland :D

Sorry they are so big :irked:

  10. I have read all of the books, Kell and Michelle pretty much summed them up, I could not believe that an adult, a mother could do such things to her child, it was unbelieveable.

I always remember the part in the second book, 'The Lost Boy', his Mum appears at his foster home and cannot be any nicer until his stepmother leaves the room and her personality changes and she starts threatening him, it was awful to read.

  11. I planned on watching it on FX tonight. Until I realised we don't actually have that channel . I was not best pleased and will have to wait for the dvd now .

That is a shame Rach, the time will fly in and then you will have the dvd
