Finished And the Mountains Echoed. Loved it, just as good as his other two. The man really writes the most beautiful stories.

I really like Gone Girl as well....hope the movie is halfway decent. A little over halfway thru And the Mountains Echoed and absolutely love it

Day 5 of near 100 degree temps...with today supposedly being the worst yet. We are supposed to be seeing a little bit of relief by this Sunday. I'm trying my best not to complain, because at least I'm not shoveling, but dang, it's HOT HOT HOT!!!

we have gotten more than our fair share of rain...but usually with storms. Heavy heavy downpours, then nothing. Crazy weather. Little too early for cukes here...but have had some delicious lettuce and arugula

Most places do have air-conditioning now....I do at home, but not central a/c....just a wall unit....but I'll take what I can get. I can tolerate the high temps, but it's the humidity that makes it completely oppressive...just hot dead air. Very unhealthy too. And it's been like this for several weeks. Muggle, love that garden

Nice to see you Hyzenthlay It's hot here. Really really hot & humid. Temps have been in the high 90's close to 100. Today after work I am escaping to my sister's to spend the weekend in the pool. Can't wait. Also bought a new car last Monday...well, new to me anyway
