I think Janet's idea is a great one, and you may be surprised at what goes! But, if there's anything left that no one seems to want, just pop them in a recycling thingie somewhere.

It was available, the last time I looked, so they may be out of stock. At the moment it's self published, but she's now keen to take it forward, and has just started looking for an agent. I will be incredibly surprised if no one picks it up.

I finished the book today, and it was excellent! I have a signed copy to give away on here, I just need to finalise details - stay tuned!

Erm.. when you go to each page, there's some writing, then a sign - hover over the sign, and it says enter. Then, in each section, words come up at the bottom. It works ok for me, although I have noticed you get more content using IE (than firefox). However, don't forget that JK has a ton of money to throw at her site!

I'm reading a review copy of a book that's been sent to me, called The Questory of Root Karbunkulus, and I am loving it. I honestly think it's destined for big things!

Hmm.. I have a feeling it was something my grandparents used to but me.. so I probably had to wait until the weekend! I used to look forward to my Jackie Annual at Christmas!

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed at the moment.. I had a small pile of books, all in really good condition, that weren't selling on GreenMet, so I decided to try BookMooch. Five of them have been snapped up, and yet when I went to search for the books *I* wanted, there are no copies! I know I should have probably checked before, but I have a feeling I'm about to pay postage on 5 books, and be left with points that I can't use.

I have bought quite a few books through GreenMet, and I've had no trouble at all.

Yes, when you buy a book, the seller is sent your address.. but that's the same no matter where you buy from.

The US publishers seem to be embracing the idea, but not those in the UK.. the selection hasn't been that good the past few months. I'm passing again.

GreenMet are a professional company Laura, and I wouldn't have any worries about them having your bank details.
As for buying from them, I've had no problems at all. In fact, I believe it's less 'risky' than the likes of ebay, because they say that if a book you buy doesn't turn up, they will find you another copy.
As for selling though, I don't have much luck, even though I tend to only list new or excellent books. I might 'mooch' them instead.

I do think that they're hoping he'll carry on..
However, Tennant's long-term future as the Time Lord remains uncertain. He will star in a Doctor Who Christmas special this year and another three specials next year, but is not confirmed for the next full series of the show, scheduled for 2010.The series has been postponed so that the star, who is the tenth actor to feature in the role, can take to the stage to play Hamlet with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Is that confirmed.. about him leaving? The last I knew, nothing had been decided about 2010.

Does anyone else feel really depressed and lost now that it's finished? Overall, I have really enjoyed this series, I just adore Tennant's doctor.. and I don't want to wait until Christmas!
What am I going to do with my books?
