  1. It's mostly Hebrew. I'll elaborate: it's not complicated words that I'm having trouble with, it's just some sort of bug, that makes me having the need to define basic words. I'd give an example, but since it's in Hebrew, it won't be helpful. It's like I try to break the words, their core concepts, and define them - using... Well, words. As a sentence I understand, but taking each word apart, it's making me feel obsessed. It's probably not a good explanation. I most likely should talk to a doctor/psychologist about it, perhaps it'd be of use. Thanks.
  2. For the past 2 or so years, I have been struggling with annoying problems. I don't remember if I had them back when I was younger, and I only noticed recently, but I believe it's new. For example, an issue I struggle with is about words. While I'm not a native speaker of English (Hebrew), I have great knowledge of my language. Yet, while reading, I encounter words I KNOW their meaning - it's not as if I'm misinformed of their definition, I truly do know it; yet when I try to express it using words, I get stuck; only in feel I understand. It's making my reading slow and a toll; every word I "know" I write down to look it up later; I do not know how to deal with this problem. It's like an obsession, and I don't know how to handle it - and it's making a reading session of 20 minutes to 40, since it's a loophole - I check more and more words... Another issue I noticed is I sometimes skip words when reading, or getting stuck on a word - it's like a weird stage, between reading a bit slow every word once at a time, to speed reading; it's like I lost my pace and I don't know how to read anymore. How do you read? Do you have "voices" that voice the sentences you read, do you speed read? Or perhaps something else? While it's been a rant of mine, and I hope some of you might have tips for me; did you too struggle with some issues during reading? What can be done about it in order to read better, efficiently, and actually understanding and remembering what you read?
