    Thanks for replies. I'm always on eBay but sometimes I'm sceptical about certain items as to if they are the real thing or not. I haven't tried Abebooks though so I'll have a look there. There is an old bookshop near to me which I can go to but it seems a wasted trip just to take 1 book.

    Hi I'm new to the forum, I enjoy reading, mainly real life and history but I do have the odd fiction book. Is there anywhere on this forum where I can find out a value on old books?
