Yes, Chris Manby and Chrissie Manby are the same author. As far as I know, Chris Manby are her older books, Chrissie Manby are her newer books. I've read quite a few of them and liked all of them.
Have you read The Matchbreaker? I laughed so much reading that and the main character was so loveable. I'll definitely look out for more by this author.

I have just finished It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover.
I think this book despite its subject matter was written beautifully. I can't think of what to say because a) I am crap at reviews and b) I'll probably just spoil it.
But it has made me want to read more from this author. One I have always known about but never thought I would. 4 stars! Only reason it wasn't a full house is because I wasn't too fond of the beginning.
Going to go back on goodreads and add it to my favourites.
I am currently reading An Unsuitable Match by Joanna Trollope. I'll say I am liking it so far but not completely enthralled.

I have read a lot of Sophie Kinsella and enjoyed them all. Some more than others but I have never been disappointed.
Other authors I have read and liked from the same or similar genre are Ali McNamara, Milly Johnson, Jill Mansall and Jenny colgan. No doubt forgotten some.
Chris Manby and Carole Matthews two books each one I loved and one I didnt. .well that is if I have assumed correctly that Chris and Chrissie Manby are the same person.
I need to read more books by Marian Keyes outside of the Walsh sisters series.

I was reading a magazine and there is a couple of pages all about books. New releases etc. And they always interview someone asking about their favourite books. Someone said (famous but cant remember) that she was a binge reader. Now I think that's how I would describe myself. I read and I read and I read. This can last months then I'll get to a point where I cant/dont want to read and that can last weeks or months. But I would think a lot of readers are like this because we have all experienced reading slumps. But we all deal with that in a different way. I personally let it come back naturally because when I'm in that mind set the thought of reading puts me right off.
I believe no matter what kind of reader you are, as long as you find enjoyment in it then that is all that really matters.
I also dont think it's weird to be curious of this. I find it rather interesting too.

Nothing whatsoever read in August due to a tremendous reading slump. Ugh! In 5 weeks I read That's Not My Car.
Still, back on with it now yayh! I am currently reading Still Me which I must say I am enjoying. I will miss Lou but I feel this would be good to end the series here.
I last read Watermelon the first in the Walsh family series. Quite disappointing but I feel I would like to read the next book.

It was the moustache that reminded me I was no longer in England: a solid, grey millipede obscuring the man's upper lip; a village people moustache, a cowboy moustache, the miniature head of a broom that meant business. You just didn't get that kind of moustache at home. I couldn't tear my eyes from it. Still Me by JoJo Moyes
