Hi Janet! Its a great book i am 100% you will love it Nikos Kazantzakis is without fancy words a legend!!!hahaha Try to read some poems to! I suggest you to read "Ithaca" (you will also find it "Ithaka") by C. P. Cavafy! Read it and tell me if you like it! Also you are right Nikos is from Herakleion, Crete

Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran Has anyone read this masterpiece before? A really inspired book who enclosures every aspect of the human nature! This book is a must for every person! I have read the first part of the Faust! Its really amazing. Goethe is really aware of peoples' nature! I was threaled by the way he expressed so many trues about life and human weakness!! just amazing nothing more nothing less..

Hard to tell a favorite poet but i think i ll choose Constantine P. CavafyIf you dont know him he is a Greek poet with his most known poem and translated in many languages : Ithaca
