Hi everyone, I remember reading this piece of literature in 8th grade, that was such a great piece. I'll describe it to the best of my ability. There was a village and a wooden box that people could write wishes on small pieces of paper and slip them in the box. And then, afterwards, I thought someone died or something like that. Also, I don't know if this will help, but I think there was a man named Mr. Sommers or Mr. Summers or something like that. I hope I'm posting this in the correct spot, and I also hope that any of you can help me identify this. Thank you and have a great day.
