Hi all, I'm writing a piece about the charms of faulty technology, and I'd like to quote a writer's personal account involving an (old) car that broke down all the time, but that was loved still (or because of it). I remember reading a story of a young couple going on holiday in an old car that broke down all the time, but I can't remember the details. But I would be interested in any story on this theme.
