  1. Bonjour Sean, a book I liked very much was "Demain les chiens" which in its original version is called "City". The author Clifford D. Simak takes you to a future world where robots, dogs and humans communicate their hopes and fears for a better world in a city where no one seems to care. No doubt I am a fan of this author and read the book three times, delecting myself with all this immagination. In the french version, there is 311 pages.
  2. Apart from Three Kings- One Throne that I am delecting myself with, can anyone recommend any good novels ? Frankie ?
  3. Brand new book by author Michael Wills : Three Kings - One Throne. Chevalry lovers, you are in for a treat. In the 11th century, two warriors devoted to three pretendents for the crown of England become forceful adversaries. The novel relates their own lives as well as their masters through a disturbed period in Europe. Wills takes the challenge of brigning historical facts into perspective and I would personally bet that this book will become a classic.
  4. Bonjour Anna, Do you believe that the book " I am Malala" is a MUST read in 2014 ? What is your opinion about it ? Thank you, Jocelyne Forget
  5. What first comes to mind is if you did enjoy the Hunger Games and are in to taste the Harry Potter's books, may I suggest the incomparable Jules Verne's novels. This French writer born in 1828 wrote each novel mixing adventure and science-fiction. Numerous works have been declared masterpieces. Here are a few titles: 20, 000 leagues under the sea, Five weeks in a balloon, Journey to the center of the earth.
  6. The subject being quite torid, makes me recall a great book I have had the chance to stumble upon. The title is The Road dance, written by John MacKay. The setting takes place in a remote corner of the Hebrides in Scotland. A fair brings teenagers together and at the end of the evening, when a young lady is about to get back home, the unthinkable happens. I personally loved the drama attached to the subject as well as the unsuspected vilain's character.
