I finished Jodi Picoult's Nineteen Minutes and have settled on Catherine the Great by amazing historian Robert K Massie... at 656 pages, it should keep me going for awhile. Loved Nineteen Minutes!

I've finished both Ken Follett's Fall of Giants and Winter of the World... some 1600+ pages. It was good but I don't feel the need to read Edge of Eternity. Now, looking for something... I've gone through samples but I can't find anything

I'm so surprised this morning... Amazon had some sort of antitrust settlement with Apple ebooks? I'm not sure I even understand the email they sent me, but somehow I ended up with a $33 credit to my Amazon account! Score!

I think I'd feel the same about Watchman, one reason I haven't picked it up... I did read the sample though and wasn't really taken with it. Glad you are enjoying the library I hope to get to Dexter too. I started the first one, but then started the TV show... and then stopped them both for some reason

Oh- that's disappointing! I think he read The Bean Trees, but I'm not for certain. I liked The Poisonwood Bible too.

It's boggling my mind, the amount of characters! Did you like it overall? Prodigal Summer was my second choice- I've been waiting to read it forever. I really enjoy Barbara Kingsolver. Have you read any of her others?

Lol Noll My insomnia is helping me right along with Fall of Giants... I can't believe how many characters are in this book! And to think it's a trilogy!

I stopped Prozac Nation and have, with some hesitation, started Ken Follett's Fall of Giants. I say that because it's nearly 800 pages and is the first of a trilogy. But I own it and am broke, so.

The book (my first PKD) is great, one of his best! I didn't see how the show mirrored it though, I guess it's loosely based on? Just watched the Golden State Warriors lose the NBA championship I'm not a LeBron James fan at all! Hated seeing Cleveland win- grrr!
