Thanks for the advice, I'll head to the library today and see if they have a copy. If not, I'll just browse the YA section and see what comes up.

When I was in school, I loved reading Goosebumps and the Darren Shan books, but now that I'm 22 years old, I need to find something new to read. I've tried, but I get so bored by all the details, imagery, description, etc. that bog down the action. Not to offend anyone, I actually graduated with a bachelors in English, but somehow I haven't read a book for fun in years. What I loved about the Darren Shan books and Goosebumps was that it was straightforward. It was like a movie, everything progressed quickly and the writer did not have to force every detail into your brain. I believe that with little description, the author trusts the reader to use their imagination to fill in the rest. So, which books should I be reading? What books can you reccommend? What other books are like Goosebumps or Darren Shan's Works? What YA books are good for...an adult?
