Hi, I've recently found out that there are surprisingly few novels with speech impeded love interests. Actually, there are lots of shy stuttering heroines ("Devil in Winter", "Convenient Marriage", etc.), but I'd prefer something different, like a lisp or pronouncing r's as w's. I personally know only one example: lady Charlotte from "Tickle amongst the cornstalks". Thanks!

Hello, I'm looking for a book with a plot point like this... There's a romantic couple, and the female (romantic interest/girlfriend/spouse) knows some foreign language the hero does not. So she teases him by speaking it and not translating what she said. I think I vaguely remember this from somewhere, though I cannot recall the title. I'll be grateful for your suggestions. Thanks
