About Me
During my early years, I became involved in Football, beginning my career with Sheffield Wednesday LFC as Left Midfield. I were also a permanent figure in the Herries Girls school Football team. In 1994, I joined Sheffield United but the club did not provide the facilities I were looking for & so I moved to Kilnhurst, now known as Rotherham United. At the age of 16, I went on to qualify as a Football coach, at the same time gaining Distinctions in my studies in Sport. At the age of 16, I became the coach at Sheffield City Wanderers working alongside Terry. I then formed my own club. In 1999, I returned to Sheffield Wednesday & became a full time coach working with Evolve Sports coaching young children in school settings.
I went on to founder Stokes-Intl-Sports School. As part of the school, I founded the Stokes-Intl Community project, applying to the local council for permission to renovate an old derelict building into a sports forum/community hall. Unfortunately, permission were not granted and so this is a project still ongoing..
Stokes-Intl-Sports School quickly expanded into Rotherham United LFC School of Sports after taking on the name of the club. At this time, I became the Marketing Manager for the club . I began writing the clubs biography ''I'll always be a Miller'', I also set up a club store to sell the clubs own merchandise in which I funded myself. I began looking for funding so I could buy land to give the club their own premises! I became involved with Albert K Frimpong, the founder of SYDO Ghana. I became very interested in SKATE SOCCER and offered to expand this project into the UK . I am now the UK Director of SKATE SOCCER. 2012, I founded FAD FC, a place where people suffering with or have suffered with mental health issues caused by or related to Football could come together and share their own experiences (www.fadfc.weebly.com ).. As part of FAD FC, I write books on Football related subjects. My current book is 'A Guide To Positive Mental Health'
