I love the TV programme and the books but they bear very little resemblance to each other!!

I don't know whether to believe the accent they use. Are they poorly putting on a southern accent that makes me cringe or do they actually sound like that?

It was for the same exam. They have crap markers. We got them remarked as we all got D's.

There's always a problem with English grades. Happened to us a couple of years back.

Yeah. It's happened to us twice now. Last year's exams and this years. If I had that exam in June I may have lost my Uni place.

I will probably have to read it at some point as well when I go into uni as well. Gonna be so tedious.

It was the lengthy sections about his fence that got me. It does get pretty interesting about 3/4 of the way through though...

I only read about him wanting to go to sea and all these weird ramblings on about god knows what. Don't think I could stomach that far just for the good parts.
