a Bit of Craic
Hi- I joined this forum because over the last year or two I've developed a huge interest in the history of Nazi Germany, and the rise & fall of the Third Reich. Probably the aspect that I am most curious about is Hiter's indoctrination of the German population that led to his dictatorship 1933, and I would love to happen upon a read that would satisfy this curiosity. Does anyone have any suggestions of book titles? I would really appreciate your help. All the best, J
Raven
The Nazis: A Warning from History, by Lawrence Rees might be a good place to start, although that is more specifically about the running of the Nazi party rather than a social commentary on Germany in the thirties. There are also two biographies on Hitler by Ian Kershaw that had good reviews when they were published.
