I love the old-style cartoon film they made of it, too. I still end up singing the songs from that, at least 20 years after first reading the book! pickle Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 I loved this book when I was little to the point I was tidying in the garden yesterday when I came across a spiders web with a sack in it so instead of putting the empty pot in my take to the tip pile I left it there so they can hatch....I don't mind spiders in the garden, in the house on the other hand I am a complete coward.
