Lynn
I bought Pig Island when it first came out and got about halfway through, and then gave up. Then a few months ago i gave it another go, got a little further and then gave up again. Although i usually love books like this it was just a little too bizarre for me. catwoman
I have heard bad things about Pig Island. I don't own that books, but I do own some of her others, so I will read them first before even contemplating Pig island.
Lisa-Marie
I've heard bad things about Pig Island too so I've never bought it. I did like Birdman and The Treatment by her though. The Treatment was quite uncomfortable to read in some places. I gave up on Tokyo, but I might try and read it again.

K8e
Hi I like Mo Hayder but her writing is very macabre, the first one I read was 'birdman' and when I found out the reason why he is called Birdman - it was really quite grotesque, having said that, I have never forgotten it!
