mimimoo
Does anyone out there remember a wonderful book I read when I was much younger-It was about a young ill girl who, when sleeping found herself in a house in the middle of nowhere surrounded by large boulders. She is joined by a boy in her dream who I think was crippled, and after a while they noticed that the boulders were moving in on them and try to escape..very creepy! It's driving me mad as I can't remember the name and get blank looks at my local bookshops and I know my daughter would love it-please help!!!!! JudyB
I think the book you are thinking of is Marianne's Dream by Catherine Storr - I also remember the televised version of it. Funnily enough I went to great lengths to find this a few years ago after chatting with someone who also remembered it. There is a DVD of the book called Paperhouse. I hope this is useful to you.
