A song of ice and fire is probably worth a mention The witcher has some cool females but the vampire isn't like regular vampires blood is like booze But he isn't in it till like the 3rd book I think

Hi I know I am new but I have been looking for this book for ages and am hoping sombody here can help. It was a fair while since I read this Okay I believe that it was post apocalyptic or set on some kind of alternate earth. There was a huge time line in the front of the book. They were like vampires but had like spikes / suckers that drew blood but also could be used like weapons Like for duels and normal humans were like cattle The cover of the book was like a boris Vallejo painting or frank frazzetta painting it had 2 vampires like fighting while a human looked on The plot was about some vampire realising humans were not cattle I am not sure if it was part of a series or what I've been looking for this for ages Thanks in advance
