  1. Hey guys and gals, While I love this series by James Patterson as books I also kind liked the original tv series as well..the movie wasn't bad either. I have heard rumors that they giving it another shot? Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? If so...are they going to keep it close to the books? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Shelfy
  2. Hmm, see now that is what bothers me...I have only ever not finished one of his books and he seems to have this thing about not giving happy endings. I mean Doctor Sleep? Cujo? I am loving the Dark Tower series though.. it is very easy to get into. Should I be worried? Shelfy
  3. I am yet to pick it up but I have heard good things if that helps at all. Shelfy
  4. Makes you look* at people differently. Sorry, a mistype. Cheers, Shelfy
  5. If you're after a crime series to really make you think as well as put you into the mind of the killer, I would highly reccomend James Patterson, either the Alex Cross series or his Women's Murder Club series are both perfect for this. There is also Rizzoli And Isles series by Tess Gerritson, very good for a twist and a slight scare. Makes you at people a little differently. Cheers, Shelfy
  6. Hmmm strange. Hopefully the books come soon. I know how annoying it is waiting on a new one to read
  7. Thanks for the welcome guys! My name came from a friend of mine who calls me his little sister. He calls me fridge shelf....because apparently I can take on a lot and remain cool..he's a strange one. Anyway, I figured use that and the book part of it just slipped into place. Really enjoying the forum so far. Shelfy
  8. Sounds very interesting. Will definitely have to look into it. Cheers Shelfy
  9. Pennywise...I am terrified of clowns! Regards, Shelfy
  10. I couldn't finish Revival, I got a couple of chapters in and had to put it down. I've never done that with an SK book before...Intrigued by Finders Keepers, yet to read it. My first was Tommy Knockers, I was 10. As you can imagine it was terrifying. My favourite was and still is Christine. Currently reading the Dark Tower Series, I have heard some alarming things about the ending...makes me a little worried about finishing it. Without revealing anything...how is the ending? Cheers, Shelfy
  11. I recently bought a couple of books from The Book Depository, the second time I have used their services. Very impressed both times. Fast service and loving the free shipping....Knowing about this site could turn expensive. Cheers, Shelfy
  12. Currently reading (just started today) "Song Of Susannah" By Stephen King. Not the first time I have tried to read this series but it is the first time I have gotten this far into the Dark Tower Series. I am really enjoying it. Cheers, Shelfy
  13. Hi all, Just a newbie who loves reading saying hey, looking forward to chatting about books with people who enjoy reading as much as I do. My taste kind of varies from Stephen King to James Patterson and even Jodi Piccoult. I am recently experimenting with some of the classics as well. Cheers, Shelfy
